The presentation will hosted by Joe Young of the American Welding Society Foundation.

Meet the Presenter

Joe Young is an experienced welder, fabricator, educator, inspector, small business owner, and workforce champion for the next generation of welding professionals. Academic accomplishments include  a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Technology Management from Eastern Michigan University, coupled with an Associates of Applied Science in Welding Fabrication Technology from Washtenaw Community College.

He holds awards and certifications that include a current AWS Certified Welding Inspector endorsement, a recent AWS Certified Welder for both pipe and plate applications, several nationally recognized safety endorsements, industry specific training, and a variety of technical education awards.
